An exceptional opportunity for a highly commercial and strategically focused ideally qualified accountant to join a leading bank. This role sits within Group where you will be responsible for building a strong network with key senior managers across the business to get their buy-in and support to meet Group requirements.
Key accountabilities include:
Support the preparation of briefings for the Group FD
Assist in the preparation of information and insight used by the Executives and Investor Relations team
Develop a strong understanding of the key businesses, products and strategies within the divisions
Support the budgeting, planning & forecasting process by assisting Group Finance divisions in understanding the issues and opportunities facing the group
Develop and apply analytical techniques to work with the divisions to enhance understanding and insight at group level
To be successful, you will have a demonstrable track record in all of the competencies outlined above. You will have exceptional commercial acumen and the ability to turn strategy into results. You will also ideally be a qualified accountant.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits Package
