Organisation Description
The Finance Business Partner (FBP) role is designed to provide a bridge between the Finance function and the revenue generating parts of the business. It’s important to build relationships with internal customers and be seen as commercial in outlook rather than the traditional view of the accountant as a desk bound bean counter, remote from the business and perceived as solely the guardian and presenter of numbers.
FBPs need to be able to provide meaningful analysis to the business to assist them in meeting their goals, both regular and ad-hoc in nature. The role will also require you to balance being part of the team that’s accountable for decisions, with being part of the ‘policing’ team that challenges costs and expenditure. It’s important to be able to identify potential improvements and issues then provide, develop and present viable solutions.

Job Description
· Operate as a Finance Business Partner to support applicable Divisions
· Produce timely and accurate monthly management reporting via Divisional Performance Indices Brochures/ League Tables
· Ensure a timely and accurate bonus scheme process
· Review of weekly Divisional Key Performance Indicators
· Prepare and review consolidated Divisional budgets
· Provide commercial support to operations (cost control, pricing etc.)
· Attend Divisional meetings and contribute with a targeted finance presentation
· Contribute to any relevant training courses run for employees, enhancing financial awareness and understanding in the operational groups
· Deal with ad-hoc queries from operations
· Contribute towards a improvement based environment
· To provide full commercial support and financial information to the companies business divisions.
· To operate as a key member of the Commercial Finance team in driving improved business performance
Person Specification
Education, Knowledge & Experience
· Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience
· Strong management accounts background and proven track record
· Demonstrated business systems experience, including Oracle
