Finance Assistant

South Hams OW1320 Finance Assistant £22 - £23k
My client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. They are based in the South Hams and the salary is set between £22,000 and £23,000.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

· Purchase ledger : handling and processing invoices, posting to ledgers and managing payments

· Sales ledger : posting to the ledgers, managing the debtors ledger, query resolution and credit control

· Reconciling Purchase and Sales ledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis

· Preparation of reconciliations including the balance sheet

· Preparation of payroll

· Standing in for the Finance Manager when appropriate

· Other ad hoc admin duties

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, be AAT qualified with strong Microsoft and Excel skills. Candidates who are qualified by experience may also be considered. For further information on this role please contact Oliver Watson quoting reference OW1320.
