FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

We have an excellent opportunity to gain a widespread knowledge of a Finance department.  You will be based at Haddenham, with the flexibility to work at other sites as required.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be required to provide an effective administrative support to the Finance department.

You will have responsibility for managing sales rebates and providing assistance to and cover for Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and Payroll. Other duties will include answering and directing telephone calls within the department, post and filing along with administrative cover for the Finance Manager.  Within finance there is a number of legal obligation requirements that you will be required to maintain and report in a timely manner.  As a new position the role will develop in line with the needs of the department.

Key Result Areas:

• Sales Rebates managed within the time scales to enable accurate information to other areas of the business.
• Rebate credit notes and invoices are raised promptly to enable more effective cash collection for the credit controller.
• Monitor and reconcile rebate accruals and reports accurately.
  
• Legal obligation reporting deadlines to be met. CCL, CRC, NPWD and Packaging waste. Intrastat and EC Sales lists.
• Payroll support helping to make sure our employees are paid on time.

The ideal candidate should be self motivated and have excellent organisational skills along with good attention to detail. Candidates will need to be part/fully qualified AAT or equivalent and have at least 2/3 years experience within a similar finance role.  It is essential to have intermediate Microsoft Office Skills, specifically excel.   Study support is available.
