Reporting to the Field Service Manager, Central region, the successful Chemistry Customer Support Engineer will provide high quality on site customer support and will be the face of the company to our customers.

This position will be instrumental in providing support of the highest level on our clinical diagnostics product lines requiring close interaction with the customer and colleagues to maintain a class leading quality service.

The successful candidate will adhere to customer focused strategies to achieve business goals, increase customer satisfaction and position Service Support as a positive sales differentiator in an ever increasingly competitive market.

This position is full time, five days a week. The five working days will be flexible to include the occasional Saturday and Sunday, as and when required. The candidate will be ideally located in the Wrexham / Chester area.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Develop and maintain exceptional customer relations
• Work harmoniously within a highly skilled team of Customer focused Customer Support Associates
• Achieve departmental goals and objectives to meet the company’s operational plan
• Work closely with all internal departments to build relationships that result in timely implementation, installation and post go-live support
• Ensure Preventative Maintenance Inspections and service modifications are completed in specified time frames
• Ensure accurate completion of all paperwork and reports
• Contribute to an environment where quality is perceived as a culture
• Maintain accurate record of car stock
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:-

• Location in the Wrexham / Chester area
• Experience in the service and use of Chemistry analysers essential
• A minimum HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject
• Minimum of 2 years Field Service experience
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels
• Proven track record in a technical service organisation with customer focus being key
• Although this position will be primarily based in the Wrexham / Chester area, travel around the UK may be required at short notice
• Full UK driving licence
• I.T. literate

Salary: £27,000 - 30,000 + 10% OTE + Car
