Field Service Engineer - Automatic Transmissions, Diesel Engines (Mechanical / Electrical)
Field Based (covering London and the surrounding area)
£26,000 - £27,040 DOE Plus Overtime, Laptop, Company Van
As a leading specialist in the supply, service and parts of diesel engines, automatic transmissions and off-highway driveline products, our client prides themselves on providing a high quality service to all customers. They are currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their team.
If you're an electrical or mechanical engineer with experience of working with automatic transmissions and diesel engines, then our client wants to hear from you.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will help support and grow our client's business throughout London by carrying out repair and replacement of all related equipment. Although field based, you will be required to occasionally travel to our client's office in Hayes.
Your duties will include:
- Diagnosing transmission and engine faults and repairing or replacing as required
- Handling, stripping, cleaning and inspecting dirty and used components
- Ensuring engineering reports are filled in correctly
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Electrical or mechanical engineering experience
- Experience with automatic transmissions and diesel engines
- Your own basic tool kit
- A driving licence
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be a good communicator with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team.
