Job Title:  Field Sales Representative/Account Manager

Location: Working out of clients premesis in Romsey Hampshire, to cover Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, West sussex etc

Salary : £22,000- £30,000 basic salary( depending on experience)+ company car + Laptop. OTE is around £40,000

Experience gained within the pre packed food industry, printing or bakery products is preferred, however not essential as full product training will be given. However, applicants MUST have knowledge of label printing & flexographic printing processes

Job Purpose

Responsible for all sales activities.  Managing quality and consistency of products and service delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports including activity, closing, follow ups and adherence to set targets.
  • Follow upon new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow ups.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Communicate new products and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Work closely with other company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Candidates MUST have at least 2 years Field Sales/ Business Development experience and ideally will have knowledge of the print/ packaging industry

Due to the nature of the role,. Candidates MUST also be extremely self motivated, and be used to working on their own with little or no supervision

As this is a field based position, applicants MUST have a Full UK driving licence, and a valid passport as travel to Ireland may sometimes be required.
