FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE

£51000 OTE M4 CORRIDOR

£30000 Basic + £15000ote + £6300 car allowance

The prime responsibility of the role is to develop business relationships with potential customers to generate and grow bookings and billings for the company.  This involves the ability to effectively communicate in order to positively negotiate, take advantage of all opportunities, quote profitably on business and demonstrate the company’s capabilities.

Whilst the significant majority of the role relates to the ability to achieve sales goals by new accounts, there is also a key need to maintain the existing customer requirements.  Hence the ability to multi task and work within deadlines whilst observing the company’s standard operating sales practises is a fundamental key.

Qualify customer accounts in order to determine their potential and the appropriate sales channel as directed by line manager (where appropriate).

Undertake regular communication either by the phone or in person to present the capabilities of the company to the customer and create the opportunity to quote or receive the bill of material listing.

Qualify the quote / bill of material in line with corporate guidelines and work with the marketing departments to determine effective pricing and delivery to ensure the booking of the business.

Identify design opportunities, develop new opportunities though design wins with the TSM team enabling sales of designed product to commence and pull through business.

Achieve visit rates in line with corporate objectives.

Comply with all sales processes in all aspects of the standard operating procedures.

Ensure a high level of service by being responsive to the customer needs with regards to return of quotes, product availability, lead times and delivery queries as necessary.

Proven sales track within the company or other electronic distribution business whereby a consistent high level of sales and a focussed account base were actively demonstrated. Preferably educated to a high standard.

Be a self-starter, very focussed achieving the end result.

Clear communication and interpersonal skills.

Aptitude to develop commercial and business acumen. 

Highly organised and accurate, able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Able to work under own initiative and as member of a team.
