This is an exciting opportunity to join our client as a very prosperous time as they look to expand and establish offices in London. With several decades of experience within the IT market and a strong financial base, they are able to create a true partnership with their clients and customers alike to enable them to secure market share. As the successful candidate you will be tasked with taking ownership of the software area of the business. You will be responsible for creating, developing and maintain new vendor relationships whilst understanding the company’s business model and meeting clients expectations. Reporting to the Sales Director your duties will include:
- Creating Software sales/renewal strategy
- Liaise with current and new vendors/partners developing new business opportunities and cross/up selling on existing relationships
- Identifying potential new revenue streams and possible relationships that could be developed within the targeted stream
- Manage licensing renewal
- Liaise with Account Management on pre and post sales
- Identify emerging markets
- Drive and increase profitability and revenue via software - negotiating margin, profit, terms etc
Our client are seeking people who have:
- Proven track record within software sales with a background in a Distributor/Reseller
- Detailed understanding of software licensing and how it operates
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of channel management
- Multi-vendor competency
- Strategic approach
- Sales Support (pre/post sales)
