Family Planning and Sexual Health Lead Nurse

To coordinate the delivery of nursing care at Manchester, Bolton and Blackpool Pregnancy Advisory Services. To manage the team of nursing staff in order to deliver the safe and effective care of clients. Responsible for the development of nursing and professional practice. This is in order to meet the requirements of the Nationals strategies and targets eg. the Sexual Health Strategy, Teenage Pregnancy Strategy, National Chlamydia Screening Programme and The Care Standards Act. The post holder should be experienced in providing appropriate family planning and sexual health care. Provide leadership for the development of the service to clients. the post holder should also have proven leadership experience in a nursing environment and will be expected to work in adherence with targets and objectives set by the organisation.Meridian Business Support are acting on behalf of our Clients as a Recruitment Agency.
