A Factory Manager is sought in Margam, Glamorgan, to join this environmentally aware inventor & manufacturer of technologies that reduce the energy we use, harvest it more cheaply or conserve what we harvest. Due to successfully commercialising their products in a large and growing market, and rapidly increasing demand for their products, they are now seeking a Factory Manager.

The essential skills & experiences needed for this Factory Manager role:
- 10+ years factory management experience as a Head of Production / Factory Manager / Production Manager or similar title
- Experience managing office and shop floor staff
- Demonstrable experience in budget setting and KPI management
- The ability to demonstrate a collaborative and encouraging culture
Your main responsibilities as a Factory Manager:
- Managing the arrival of survey data, production of manufacturing drawings through to manufacture, QC and despatch
- Training installers and surveyors
- Full P&L and KPI responsibility
- All HR issues; hiring, training and daily management of all manufacturing and ancillary office staff
- Take an active part in the Management Team of the company
- Ensure the site operates to all current legislation and company procedures
- Developing continuous improvement initiatives to improve cost effectiveness, efficiency and reduce waste across the site
- Leading R&D for new products
