The Role
Working at our state of the art Central Processing Unit in Al Kharj in Saudi Arabia you will be an energetic self-starter with the drive and skills to work for the fastest growing company in the GCC. The company has very ambitious growth plans and this is underpinned by its commitment to recruiting the best staff form around the world. Used to working in a multi-cultural environment you will be responsible for the direct management of 3 Senior Engineering Managers and another 4 engineering managers. Your challenge will be to:
- To manage the specialized group of engineers to provide skills and services to the Operations and Bakery Divisions specifically;
- To provide systems that maximise the operational availability and effectiveness of all process control.
- To provide standards and specifications for the design and implementation of automated systems (hardware/software) within Almarai that meet globally recognised standards and Good Engineering practice.
- To assist in the competency assessment of automation staff and the provision of identified training
- To approve all vendors (integrators) of automated systems.
Qualifications:
Essential :
- Degree or equivalent Computer studies / Electrical Engineering
- Supplementary qualification in instrumentation / electronics
Desirable
- Additional qualification in electrical / mechanical process control
- Networking - profibus - Ethernet - Cisco switching.
Experience:
- 10 years minimum experience in a process control in with a multi-product dairy / food environment.
- Detailed Knowledge of process and packing equipment control systems.
- Detailed Knowledge of implementing and maintaining advanced automation systems and control.
- Good working knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC and Wonderware applications.
Desirable responsibilities
- 5 years exposure with multinational / multicultural staff.
