We require an experienced Facilities Manager for our prestigious client based in Basildon, Essex.
The ideal candidate will have extensive management experience in directly running cleaning and soft service contracts. It is essential that your experience is with managing in-house staff and not subcontractors. Candidates must have an in depth knowledge of prestige, industrial and factory cleaning. It is also essential that you will be able to personally instruct, train and assess cleaning supervisors and staff as well as setting correct work loadings and output tasks.

In addition to the above, the manager will take overall responsibility for:
* Soft service elements such as help desk.
* Managing experienced supervisory grade staff - hard services.
* Other 2nd tier hard and soft contracts.

Our client requires a dynamic, structured and strong manager who will take personal responsibility to ensure delivery takes place and any issues are dealt with routinely before they become problems or client complaints.
The candidate must be articulate, computer literate and possess good customer skills along with excellent "man management skills".
This is a demanding role on a site where staff will be working over 24 hours 7 days.
The successful candidate will ensure that the client's needs are met at all times, whenever they arise.
