ROTHERHAM FOOTBALL CENTRE

GENERAL MANAGER

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours of work: 40 hours per week (including some evening and weekend work)

Rotherham Football Centre is a vibrant social enterprise, providing football, social and other activities in the local community to promote and encourage the health and wellbeing of its residents, in particular children and young people. We are now looking to recruit a General Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the Centre and develop the business.

The role will involve all aspects of building and facilities management, including responsibility for Health and Safety, Customer Care and Staff Management. You will also be expected to develop the business through identifying and implementing additional services, building and maintaining business contacts and partner relationships, and by promoting the Centre through marketing activity.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally need to have relevant experience of managing a community facility and its staff, as well as the ability to develop the business as a viable and sustainable Centre within the community. Along with excellent people skills and the ability to develop working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, you should also have good organisational and financial management skills and an extensive knowledge of Health and Safety.

The role will be located at Rotherham Football Centre, Eastwood Industrial Estate, Chesterton Road, Rotherham, S65 1SU.
