An excellent opportunity has arisen within a well established Facilities Management Company for a Fabric Project Manager based in Newbury. This is a mobile position covering the Newbury area and out towards the East.
As a professional Facilities Management Provider, they have an excellent track record and client retention rate within delivering hard services to commercial clients.
With the success of winning new contracts there is a continued increase in workload and they are now seeking to employ a Project Manager to cover the South West Region. The main purpose of the role will be to successfully deliver projects from inception through to completion. This will include managing P&L of £25k- £0.5m, and will consist of fabric projects including large refurbishments. The successful candidate will be accountable for leading the fabric team to deliver the repair and upkeep of the building fabric.
Role responsibilities will include:
• To project manage all works requested by the client.
• To costs and produce quotations for any works requested.
• To manage all personnel working on the projects
• To manage contractors working on the projects
• To make sure that all documentation is kept up to date.
• To follow up sales leads on extra projects
To be considered it is essential that candidates have competencies to include:
• Appropriate Fabric Trade qualifications for work under their management
• Technically astute.
• Experience of managing P&L
• Proven track record of business development in a previous role.
• Self Motivated and able to work under own initiative
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to work individually or as part of a team
