Export Territory Manager - French Speaking
Stevenage, Hertfordshire (office/field based, covering France, Spain, Portugal and Specific Businesses within the USA)
Up to £35,000 DOE (OTE £42,000) Plus Bonus (up to £5,000), Laptop, Mobile
Are you a confident and tenacious field sales professional with proven export experience? Looking for an exciting, varied role, offering significant travel throughout Europe and beyond? If so, read on.
Our client makes and sells licensed, fashion mobile, PC, and audio accessories. They sell into high street electrical, audio, gaming and mobile retailers, internet and catalogue companies across the EMEA region and the USA. They have gone from strength to strength over the last decades and are looking forward to a bright future. They are now looking for an ambitious and highly motivated French speaking Export Territory Manager to join their team.
As the Export Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of our client's products across France, Spain and Portugal. You will also handle a US customer who sells specific products into theme parks.
Selling to retailers and specialist distributors, you will work closely with customers. You will answer any enquiries regarding pricing, deliveries, specs, samples or marketing support.
Your duties will include:
- managing the applicable export price list for each market sector
- dealing with incoming orders and product enquiries
- meeting face-to-face with both prospects and current customers to present our client and the company's range of products
- initiating sales and marketing activities, such as special promotions
- Attending and working on relevant exhibitions
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- significant export experience
- a proven track record within a field based export role
- fluent French language skills, and ideally the ability to speak Spanish
- A degree
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and emails programs
As the Export Territory Manager, you must live within a commutable distance to our client's office in Stevenage or be willing to relocate. Excellent negotiation skills, strong communication skills with the ability to give effective presentations are also key.
