Motionlab are looking to appoint an Experienced Web / Digital Designer as part of ambitious plans to expand our existing digital team.
In order to be considered for this most prestigious role you will be expected to have exceptional creative flair and extensive experience in working on a variety of different small and large-scale projects, incorporating HTML/CSS build, from the initial design through to completion.
The position will require good working knowledge of modern front end coding techniques including :
- jquery
- JavaScript
- and experience in using frameworks.
- knowledge of subversion would also be advantageous.
Must be extremely proficient at crafting high quality website designs and online marketing material and have a natural ability when it comes to coding detailed, manageable, SEO-friendly and WC3 valid websites.
Other key skills essential to the vacancy are a vast knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, standard FTP software, XHTML/CSS.
The majority of your time spent in the position will revolve around a series of online projects, but any experience in working on offline assignments will be of great benefit as versatility in the role may be required at certain times.
As this is a senior role we will only accept applications from candidates who can prove that they have worked on big budget, high-profile campaigns for leading brands.
Previous agency experience is also vitally important. You must have terrific digital credentials in order to be considered.
A degree or equivalent is desirable.
