They are looking for several sales professionals to work both individually and within their existing team to proactively sell office supplies to a variety of different organisations. These types of organisations include; Education Authorities, Health Schemes (NHS/PCT’s etc), Councils and also Corporate companies.
The purpose of the role will be making outbound calls to both existing and prospective customers to generate income and achieve your sales and profit targets. It is extremely important that products should always be sold in the appropriate manner whilst ensuring that a quality customer service is given at all times.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year outbound telesales experience into corporate business, SME or public sector organisations selling business supplies (Office Products), Hardware or Printer Supplies or Telecomms support/systems
- Proven track record in pro-actively seeking out and closing new customer accounts from leads provided
- Proven track record of consistently hitting targets (based around increasing the customer base, margins, turnover and conversions
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and numeracy skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Computer literate and the ability to learn new systems
- Capable of overcoming objections and closing sales
- Able to develop strong, long term customer relationships
Desirable but not essential:
- Full Driving licence

- To maximise sales opportunities and endeavour to achieve sales targets set
- To sell office products to customers whilst maintaining first class customer service, which includes a pleasant, confident and helpful telephone manner
- To achieve pre agreed profit and margin targets and to maintain this level of profit in line with your salary grade
- To achieve call targets set in line with your minimum standards of performance
- Deal efficiently, promptly and professionally when sending documentation to current and prospective accounts
- To have commitment to both the company and team colleagues and maintain professionalism to internal customers and external customers
- To ensure all staff members adhere to the companies policies as stated in the handbook
- To ensure that you adhere to the minimum standards of performance (sales)
- To maintain the highest standard of dress, time keeping and attendance
- Showing strong team spirit and to work closely with colleagues
- Product Knowledge - it is essential that a good understanding of all products be attained. This is necessary to enable a professional and knowledgeable service is provided to our customers during telephone enquiries
- Administration - You will be expected to manage all administrative duties surrounding your role, including management of your database
- It is essential that, as required, you contact external customers to build and maintain relationships. As part of this duty, you will be expected to prospect and achieve your daily minimum standards
