Exciting opportunity for an experienced and career motivated Account Handler to join a highly reputable brokerage in Birmingham that is going through a very exciting period of change with big plans for 2012.
You will be confident, focused and able to work to targets whilst providing excellent customer service to very loyal clients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dealing with quotations and new business as well as handling mid-term enquiries and renewals across a wide variety of Commercial products
- Demonstrate key selling skills along with a good technical knowledge of Insurance products and a strong ethos of ensuring the client understands the products they are being offered
- Support an external team of Business Managers/Executives in the management of their new and existing clients
Skills and knowledge required:
- Minimum of 2 years Commercial Insurance experience within a Broking or Insurer environment
- A proven sales focused approach to client relationships whilst ensuring that excellent customer service and advice is provided at all times
- Progress toward Cert CII would be an advantage, your studies will be supported
- Excellent inter-personal and telephone skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely with others
- The ability to meet deadlines, keep promises and prioritise own workload
- The ability to work within a team environment and to assist team members
