Events Business Development Executive - Temporary Contract until 31/12/13
Coventry based, basic salary - £30,000, OTE - £33,000
Mon - Fri 9 -may have to work some weekends while events are taking place
Are you an experienced Sales Executive looking for a new challenging and financially rewarding opportunity?
Have you proven previous experience of New Business Development within the fast paced Events sector?
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a market leader in the Events industry. Covering a large geographic area this role offers huge scope for you to develop new opportunities and drive your earnings forward.
In addition to generating your own leads and appointments with prospect clients you will be supported by a professional and dedicated internal sales force.
Targeting and approaching key decision makers within organisations to determine their requirements and tailoring a solution to meet their needs. This is very much a consultative solutions based sales role.
As the Successful Business Development Executive you will have:
Strong sales background, target driven
Experience in the events industry
Ability to close business with key decision makers at ease
B2B experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to use excel & PowerPoint
Holds a driving licence
You will need to be able to research a company thoroughly & constantly be aware of the current changes in the events sector, attention to detail and ability to use own initiative is key.
