Event Registration Executive £18k-£20k - Walton On Thames

THE ROLE:

This exciting role is within the dynamic Client Services Team, working with one of our biggest clients on a large customer summit for 900pax. As a delegate manager you will be responsible for building strong relationships with new delegates, creating an excellent and professional impression as the first contact they often have with our client when they sign up for an event, and being proactive and helpful providing solutions to their requirements.

With enthusiasm and efficiency you will have excellent communication skills as the role will largely be telephone and office based to do the following key tasks:

  • Booking people on to relevant events and confirming registrations
  • Producing  daily reports for our client
  • Ensuring that all leads and contacts are followed up in a timely manner and to completion.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook .
  • Excellent face-to-face and telephone skills .
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal .
  • Strong organisational skills - be able to juggle multiple tasks smoothly, be very organised, have good time management and be in control.
  • Good attention to detail & writing skills - can input information quickly, accurately and thoroughly.
  • Data accuracy - to interpret, record and manage database reports with speed and accuracy
  • Team player  - happy to take instructions but also work independently and proactively when required
  • Confident and positive attitude - this is a client facing role that needs a happy, enthusiastic and professional person who is happy to get involved and support the team in a wide range of activities
  • Self-motivated and driven - the ability to be able to work independently when needed, be forward thinking and use initiative
  • Calm under pressure - our working environment gets extremely busy and stressful.
