We are currently looking to recruit event co-ordinators to be based in a well-known popular conference and events venue in central London.
This role would suit someone from a hotel, conference centre or similar background that has experience within events.
The purpose of the role is to be a part of the events team and co-ordinate and deliver both external and internal bookings and events.
Candidates must:
- Have a minimum of 1 years (ideally 2) experience in an events co-ordinator role within in the Hotel, Conference centre or contract Catering trade.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills as well as being self-motivated, enthusiastic and a good team player.
- Be highly organised with an eye for detail and accuracy, with excellent computer skills including word, exel and outlook
- Have knowledge and Experience of the computerised diary/booking system Kinetics.
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and cope with deadlines.
- Have a flexible approach to work, and be willing to learn and develop within the business
Main Duties & responsibilities:
-Conducting client visits and venue show-rounds with the sales and events team
-Converting incoming conference enquiries from into confirmed business.
-Providing support to sales and marketing initiatives and projects.
-Maintaining the database and building strong client relationships
-Prepare and send out client contracts and quotations.
-Planning and organising all practical aspects of the events
-Various events related administration tasks
