Euro Car Parts - Aldershot - Sales Manager £20K-£30K plus bonus

Euro Car Parts is the largest automotive aftermarket specialist in the UK, with 3,500 employees and 90 branches nationwide, and last year our turnover rose 45% to £272 million, while in the first six months of 2011 we posted a 30% increase in sales to £164 million and are on track to achieve another record year in terms of, sales and investment into our infrastructure.

Despite the recent economic downturn, we are still firmly on track to double in size (turnover and people) by 2014, continuing our phenomenal growth in both the UK and Europe.  Passion, resilience and a "will to win" are the driving force behind our astounding, yet consistent growth. 

Due to our continued growth, we looking to recruit a Sales Manager for our Aldershot branch.

To manage, develop and be accountable for the Branch Sales Team ensuring that the sales
profit targets are met at all times.

General Duties

• Motivate the Sales Advisors to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets
• Maintain a positive, focused and upbeat sales environment at all times
• To assist sales staff providing advice and support and a point of escalation
• Organise and run effective, motivational and results orientated sales team meetings
• Liaise with the Branch Manager regarding stock availability, Branch Delivery Service and Branch Operational areas
• Adopt a style of sales leadership most likely to get the best results in different situations and the style of selling most appropriate to our marketplace
• To assist in the production of sales budgets and commit to their achievement of Company Sales and Profit Targets
• Develop and implement an effective Sales Business Plan for the branch
• Undertake regular reviews of Sales Business plans to re-assess and maintain their effectiveness
• Be proactive in all aspects of sales development; including forward thinking and planning

Ideally you will have worked in the automotive industry and understand selling car parts to the trade. Alternatively, you must have a passion for cars and a strong knowledge of car parts.

Hours of work are:

Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm
Alternate Saturdays 8am - 4pm
