Responsibilities - Estimator

• To respond to customer requests for quotations in a timely manner
• Provide detailed estimates and quotations based on information provided
• To interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure quotes are accurate
• Provide quotes to new customers, and to provide revised quotes where required until customer is satisfied
• To work to daily targets to ensure that all quotations are issued within set timescales
• To work closely with the sales team to ensure quotations are prioritised effectively
• To build customer relationships and provide excellent customer service at all times
• General administration within the estimating team

Key Skills and Experience - Estimator

• To be able to work accurately with close attention to detail is a must
• To be able to work quickly and to tight deadlines
• Ability to prioritise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A high degree of numeracy with a minimum of Grade C at GCSE maths
• Experience of using AutoCAD would be advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work as part of a team
