This is a great opportunity to join a well known technology consultancy in a fast-paced, strategic role using your strong people management skills to lead the Architecture and Business Intelligence teams to deliver enterprise solutions in line with the company and IT strategy

Job Purpose

 · Define and deliver the strategy for the enterprise architecture that meets business requirements and supports IT Strategy.

· Develop plans for and manage the delivery of robust and scalable technical architecture that caters for changing global demands.

· Manage the transition and delivery of architectural elements of projects based on project requirements.

· Manage the production and updating of architectural frameworks and guidance to enable the effective development of new and existing solutions.

· Define and deliver the technical strategy for enterprise level data warehousing and business intelligence to meet business requirements and support IT Strategy.

· Work with key business stakeholders to develop business BI strategy and promote understanding and knowledge of the potential and best use of BI.

· Manage the development and delivery of robust and supportable BI and relevant project requirements.

·Manage the development and dissemination of best practice and provision of 3rd line support to other areas of IT.

·Ensure the appropriate mixture of skills and seniority of staff within group - minimising single points of failure.

·Regularly assess organisational structure of team for effectiveness and appropriateness given changing priorities and requirements and recommend changes.

·Responsible for formal staff performance reviews and Individual Development Reviews (IDR) of team members on a biannual basis with supplementary reviews, including the talent audit, as required.

·Manage employee performance and group productivity. Regularly evaluate individual employee job performance, through 1 on 1 meetings providing constructive suggestions for improvement and rewarding accomplishments.

Experience Required:

·People management of a multi-disciplined team supporting operational and project demands.

·Engaging with business users and sponsors to develop and present strategy.

·Strategic and operational management of enterprise architecture, data warehousing and business intelligence.

·Operating in a global systems environment and utilizing knowledge and experience of market solutions

·Business Analysis and Process design

·Designing secure solutions and platforms

·Delivering presentations to a variety of audiences

Based in either our Huntingdon or London Office

Salary

£50,000-£70,000 commensurate with skills and experience
