A popular secondary school in the heart of the Amersham community requires two fully qualified English Teachers for Maternity covers starting September 2013 and October 2013.
The successful candidates will need to have previous teaching experience with key stage three and key stage four. They will strive to be an excellent English Teacher and work well with the rest of the English Department to provide a well-rounded curriculum. They will enjoy being part of the school community and be a personable teacher who aims to inspire and motivate their pupils.
You will have recent experience of teaching English in a UK school and have excellent subject knowledge and classroom control.
As the successful English Teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching English at Key Stage 3 (KS3) & Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Use a creative and engaging approach.
