Engineering Technician, Medical Devices, Surrey, Engineering Technician
This global organisation specialises in developing and supplying products to the Healthcare sector for critical care, cancer and other disorders. Due to rapid growth they now have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join their successful team in Surrey.
As the Engineering Technician you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Research & Development team on a variety of projects.
Other duties within this role will include:
• Providing technical support for the development, manufacture and characterisation of development products to ISO 13485, 21CFR part 820 and GMP requirements
• Organising and co-ordinating the external processing and testing of products and samples
• Testing and characterising the developing product by a variety of standard test methods
• Documenting technical work and where required studying Protocols and Reports
• Providing technical support by testing and characterising commercial product for regulatory / marketing support
• Developing new test methods and aiding in the implementation of new test equipment
The suitable candidate will ideally be educated to a Degree Level (or equivalent) within a Scientific discipline. Experience of working within manufacturing to ISO 13485 standards is essential for this position. Previous experience of working within a cleanroom environment is also required.
