Engineer

My client is an industry leader within the Food industry. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the role involves carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment throughout the site.

Responsibilities

Carry out corrective maintenance on plant machinery

Carry out and record planned maintenance of plant machinery

Liaise with Engineering Supervisor/Manager in regards to any production downtime and report breakdowns/malfunctions

To ensure fault logs are kept up to date and to be contactable outside of normal working hours should a major malfunction occur.

Qualifications

Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer qualified to O.N.C standard or equivalent

Apprentice Served

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

Fault finding to 24v

16th/17th edition

Working on a shift pattern, working 4 on, 4 off 12 hour shifts, days and nights alternatively.
