Currently seeking an experienced Employability Tutor / Placement Officer in the Norwich area
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 Depending on skills and experience + Company Benefits
Location: Norwich
Our client, a large successful Training Organisation, is currently looking to appoint an experienced Employability Tutor / Placement Officer to cover the Norwich area.
'Training and Support Responsibilities’
- Delivering employability skills and vocational units in a classroom environment to unemployed clients referred through the work programme.
- Employability delivery - supporting clients with interview techniques, CV writing, job search and confidence building etc
- Delivering a range of sector specific accredited qualifications / skills workshops within Hospitality and Customer Service
'Employer Engagement Responsibilities’
- Generate employer vacancies through employer engagement (Cold-calling, employer visits etc)
- Match learners to suitable work placements / employment opportunities
- Attend marketing events and promote company services at any opportunities
'Criteria’
- Hold PTLLS as a minimum
- Experience in working towards targets in regards to placing clients into sustainable employment
- Experience in delivering employability training
- Working with unemployed clients
- Advice and Guidance
- Excellent communication / organisational skills
