Electronics Design Engineer

Electronics Design EngineerPrincipal duties and responsibilities include:

- Reviewing product specifications and proposing technical solutions 
- Brainstorming ideas for new products 
- Researching, developing and designing electronic products, including:- 
- Embedded Software Development in C 
- Electronic Development, Design and Prototype 
- Schematic Capture and PCB Layout 
- Application and Test Software Development 
- Produce reliable, high quality products, fit for manufacture, that meets industry standards (EMC etc) 
- Liaise with Production Engineering Dept. 
- Liaise with existing and potential customers to help build/enhance relationships and lastly; 
- Mentor Junior Engineers to help develop the team further. 

The ideal candidate will be educated to a good degree in Electronics Engineering (or related), have a strong track record within the Electronics industry (embedded/hw), be creative/innovative, be passionate about electronics and development of new products as well as being commercially aware of designing products for minimal cost.
