My client is a leading food/FMCG manufacturing company, with an excellent reputation. They are seeking an Multi skilled (Electrically biased) Maintenance Engineer to work as part of their multi-disciplined team, carrying out first line maintenance tasks and improvements on equipment throughout the factory efficiently and effectively.
You will be responsible for completing designated tasks efficiently and effectively and to a high standard of quality, considering all implications when carrying out designated tasks to minimise wasted time and materials. You will have a positive work ethic and use Root Cause Analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures and act on the findings, whilst being observant at all times when in the plant and report any deficiencies.
You will have experience within a FMCG, food, high speed production maintenance department, and managing maintenance safely with good knowledge of Practical engineering / electrical experience including legislation.
You will be Electrically qualified to City & Guilds part 3 or NVQ L2/3 in a relevant discipline and be Multi-skilled with broad knowledge of modern maintenance techniques. You will ideally have exposure to PLCs with good fault finding, basic programming skills and be Health and Safety - IOSH qualified.
You will have the ability to drive results, Leverage your own potential, and make smart decisions quickly, using intuition, rational thinking and sound judgement skills.
