Electrical Design Engineer
Pay Year: Upto £40,000.00
Location South East - Surrey
Electrical Design Engineers - A World leading motorsport manufacturer is looking for permanent staff to grow their current team and knowledge base. You will be working on a highly prestigious vehicle range and will be responsible for the Packaging of electrical system components and wiring, including brackets and grommets as appropriate, within a CATIA V5 environment.
You will be responsible for packaging of control units, sensors, actuators and other electrical peripherals relating the following systems;
- Body and door control
- Active restraints
- Infotainment system including sound amplifier, speaker system and antennae
- Tyre pressure monitoring
- Parking distance control
- Interior controls
- Bracket, grommet and fixing scheme designs
- Harnessing – signal, high current and ground cabling
Personal Attributes:
- Flexible, enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated and able to work well under own initiative
- Clear and concise communicator with excellent co-ordination, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Eye for detail.
- At ease working with a cross-functional team of engineers and suppliers.
- Capable of representing a world class automotive brand at the highest levels
