Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced electrical design engineer to join a world leading manufacturer of automation equipment. The market leaders in their field, my client delivers high quality controls and drives used by a range of high-tec industries.
As an electrical design engineer, you will deliver timely and cost effective solutions to engineering problems. You will;
• Develop detailed designs using your electro-mechanical knowledge, as well as parts lists from engineer’s sketches
• Develop wiring diagrams, circuit drawings and general assembly
• Design electrical circuits
• Provide advice and support your designs, verifying accuracy of drawings and produce BOMs
Person Specification
The successful candidate will;
• Hold a relevant qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering (HNC/HND or equivalent)
• You will have demonstrable experience as an electrical design engineer working for a large manufacturer. Candidates from an automation background will be of great interest
• You will have strong AutoCAD skills and a working knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with the use of SAP or a similar system would be advantageous
