A large Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Marketing Executive.
Job Description
Job Summary
Working as part of the Speciality E-commerce and Brand team, your role will form an integral part of our online acquisition activities one of the companies branded websites.
Main Duties
• You will provide day-to-day support to the E-commerce team across the core ecommerce channels of pay per click, display media, affiliates and email.
• You will work alongside the e-commerce team and associated internal and external agencies for both web and email to produce tactical campaigns designed in-line with core business objectives
• Under the guidance of your manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of transactional website projects and tasks, working closely with internal stakeholders (IT, sales and service).
• You will be expected to provide support on implementation, development and maintenance of the websites including, content development, content creation / inputting and testing.
• Understanding and interpreting web analytics data will be second nature to you, with a willingness to make substantiated recommendations for site improvements.
• You will work with internal teams, external agencies and the broader teams to ensure that small tasks and projects are delivered against requirements and within agreed timescales and budget.
• Your activities will support the broader e-commerce team to produce relevant, targeted online promotional tactics and associated creative in accordance with brand and FSA guidelines.
Person Specification
Technical Skills
• Experience of and able to demonstrate an understanding of online channel marketing
• Excellent web literacy
• Fully conversant in web analytics tools and applications
• Ability to work across a range of Microsoft Office applications, specifically (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
Experience
• Marketing experience essential
• Experience of B2C ecommerce environment a significant advantage
• Knowledge of main e-channels (pay per click, affiliates, display and email)
• Understanding of user experience testing procedures and implementation of findings, including end-to-end web testing.
• Appreciation of web reporting tools and an understanding of basic web data interpretation
• Project management experience an advantage
Qualifications
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience of working in a B2C e-business environment preferred
• Marketing qualification an advantage
