E-mail and Collaboration Team Leader
Manchester City Centre
£38,500 - £48,000 + bonus + benefits + pension
Are you an experienced E-mail and Collaboration Team Leader interested in developing your career in an ethical organisation that is growing and growing?
· Manage the support and delivery of all E-mail and Collaboration IT Services, ensuring they meet the needs of internal and external customers
· Work with other Group Technology teams to continuously improve the quality of services delivered to the business and the overall functioning of the department
· Foresee and take action to avoid potential problems and to maximise the team resources to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable IT services whilst remaining compliant against all forecast budget and governance commitments
· Act as a role model within the team to improve service delivery and to help individuals to be clear on their accountabilities at all times
This is a newly created role which reflects the exciting changes and developments within Group Technology. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced E-mail and Collaboration Team Leader to apply your understanding of E-mail and collaboration technologies, along with an awareness of current trends in this field, to deliver results through your team. To do this successfully you will have…
· Extensive Specialist Knowledge of key Email & Collaboration systems e.g. MS Exchange, IBM Lotus Notes, Cisco IronPort, PGP Encryption, Sharepoint, Lync
· Strong technical awareness of related technologies, emerging infrastructure, tools and processes in the market place, with an in-depth technical understanding of the team’s specialism’s
· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, in a style appropriate to the audience
· Preferably have achieved appropriate related qualifications (example Microsoft or IBM certification)
· Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships across IT
· Proven ability to successfully lead a technical team consisting of different levels of technical abilities
