Our client has been market leader in their field since 1992. They are currently re-launching their website in order to maximize additional sales opportunities from eCommerce channels, including the company website and also their presence on eBay and Amazon shopping channels.
They can offer an excellent opportunity for you to help develop the long-term eCommerce strategy of the business on these channels. They require an eCommerce Manager with extensive experience in this field.
Job Description
The eCommerce Manager is a varied and busy role. It is hands-on and you will share responsibility for the effective overall running of the website which includes:
- Driving the enhancement of eCommerce activities.
- Managing website optimisation, both organic and paid.
- Designing, running and managing website-based marketing campaigns.
- Achieving the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Person Specification
You will have proven experience in a similar role. This may well be a promotion for you from an Assistant E-commerce Manager or from an online marketing role. As such, you will be aware of KPI driven management but also be able to show a sprinkling of retail magic.
You will be a self-starter who thrives at taking responsibility and driving projects forward. You will be passionate about E-Commerce, with experience as a key player running a website and being responsible for business outcomes.
As you’d expect, you need to be extremely customer focused, possess excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate and motivate those around you.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are as attractive to us as industry knowledge.
