Job Description
This role is responsible for the China e-Commerce initiatives. You will design, size and develop the e-Commerce platform – to support the brands’ e-business strategies both within the region and globally. Liaise with cross-functional teams and external agencies, bringing knowledge and bringing mutual understanding.
The role be involved in the e-Commerce platform development, from design issues to troubleshooting, from performance analysis to capacity planning, process implementation to optimal execution etc.
You will be responsible for planning, execution and analysis for all online marketing programs designed to maximize sales by increasing traffic, improving click-to-buy conversion rates and will include performing site merchandising, catalogue management and product promotions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be degree holder and preferably in business/marketing related discipline. Minimum 10 years’ experience in e-Commerce and digital marketing for consumer facing brands/websites, preferable in luxury and premium brands. Proven success in building web and e-Commerce sites. Strong business process understanding (customer information management, order processing, inventory management, product personalization, customer support, etc.). Solid understanding of the Chinese consumer behaviour and digital landscape. Experience of logistics and stock management is a plus. Strong project management skills is a must. Excellent communication (English and Chinese) and exceptional interpersonal skills; effective and persuasive.
