Drug Safety Officer for Maternity Cover Position

Our client is a leading CRO organisation with operations across the UK and Ireland, they are currently looking for a Drug Safety Officer to cover a Maternity Leave for a minimum of 9 months.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Drug Safety and will be responsible for the following:

Processing cases on to the Company Pharmacovigilance database from all sources
Coordinating follow-up of ICSRs and arrangement of translation of literature articles when necessary.
Receiving Medical Information (MI) enquiries and responding to questions as appropriate and refering the more in-depth enquiries to senior MI Personnel.
Keep records of all pharmacovigilance activities.
Ensure all documentation is maintained as required, and advise the Management team of any reasons for revision of any SOPs or other departmental documentation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent experience with Pharmacovigilance databases and Medical Writing skills.
