Domciliary Carer / Home carers - Children/Young People

Nurse Plus has been awarded a new contract in Plymouth to provide domiciliary care and sitting service services to Children and Young People with complex health needs. We are looking for Domiciliary carers to assist Parents and Carers to meet the needs of their Children with complex disability needs: whilst providing flexible breaks for Parents and Carers.

Aims of the service:

• To provide services to support Parents and Carers to meet the needs of their Child within the family home.
• To support Children and Young People to have their needs met within the family home.       
• The service is to be designed specifically around the needs of disabled children and young people and the overall aim is to support them in developing skills which will enable them to participate more fully in the community.

The features of the service may include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Personal care
• Short Breaks for parents
• Short term care of siblings to allow parental care of child with disabilities
• Home Help - such as cooking, cleaning, ironing, shopping, etc.

The service will be available during the day and evenings, 7 days a week.

Ideally you will have experience of Domiciliary care with children/young people/ people with complex health needs.

Car drivers preferred due to varied locations
