As a market leader within a niche Healthcare services sector, this UK group has built an enviable portfolio of clients along with a reputation for quality and successful primary medical services in. The business is continuing to expand into new revenue channels & market areas. A key subsidiary within FTSE group, the business seeks a proactive Financial Controller to support the divisional Managing Director to drive profitable growth. Your brief includes:
•Deliver change and transformation to a large finance team, supporting improvements in process, systems and controls
•Development of the finance team (20+ staff)
•Control & review of monthly transactions and financial reporting
•Review & analysis of performance, trends & variances
•Coordination of annual statutory accounting process
•Supporting the annual budgeting & forecasting process
•Implementation of best practice & robust financial controls
As a qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting background alongside hands on staff management skills & a track record of implementing change, you will have experience of working within a multi-site corporate environment, use of SAP ERP, influencing senior decision makers & supporting the achievement of operating & financial plans. The group offers excellent long-term career development.
