Divisional Accountant

As a market leading manufacturing business based in the Doncaster area, our client is looking for a Divisional Management Accountant to join the team.
The role will see you taking responsibility for a number of tasks including:
Managing relationships with Operation Managers and liaising heavily with the Managing Director
Management of month end accounting procedures including in depth analysis to tight deadlines
Additional management reporting including KPI`s
Annual budget preparation and meeting the Divisional Managing Director monthly to review performance
Planning and forecasting
In-depth complex costing and project work to speed up this costing system
Intrastat and VAT Returns
You will need to be a qualified or latter stages part qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) accountant with a good track record. It would be an advantage if you can demonstrate experience in a manufacturing or contracting organisation and you will need to be a self starter with effective interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to challenge current thinking and be focused on continuous improvement.
