Rare and exciting opportunity to play a leading role representing and supporting suppliers to the education sector
This a successful and expanding trade association whose members are suppliers to educational establishments in the UK and to institutions and governments around the world.
They are looking for an experienced leader and manager to succeed the current director, Ray Barker, when he retires later this year.
Key responsibilities are:
- Deputising for the Director General
- Acting as a spokesperson for the association and for the important sector which it represents
- Managing relationships with a wide range of external organisations both to maintain and enhance the profile and influence and to maximise commercial opportunities for the association and its members
- Developing and improving the relevance and value of BESA?s services to its member firms
- Leading a team of experienced staff
You will be a polished all-round communicator with experience of using the full range of channels who is flexible, commercially-aware, diplomatic and also a confident manager.
