Director-Saudi Arabia Telecoms Recruitment Business

My client is an established recruitment business head quartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They focus on the Telecoms,Defence and Engineering marketplaces, and are part privately owned/Part private equity backed. They have considerable local support which gives them a distinct advantage and they operate in a much less competitive environment than most European markets.

They have grown to a turnover of $40m in the last 5 years, and want to continue this growth pattern. They are seeking to hire a No.2 to the current CEO, with a view that the hire will take over from the current CEO in 12-18m time, who will progress onto other areas or take more of a chairman's role. You would be responsible for the day to day running of the business operationally and from a sales perspective.

The ideal candidate will be growing into this role, having a good track record of managing a team and generating their own personal billings aswell. You will need to be commercially minded and able to learn quickly, with skills beyond just sales that will enable you to take the helm of this business.

This role requires a 5-7 year commitment in Saudi, so it will not suit everyone. Candidates with young families should be aware of the challenges.However in return there will be a significant equity opportunity running to over 7 figures. The OTE will be in the order of $150k plus tax free plus a full ex pat package including accommodation and car.
