Life sciences degree,preferably in immunology and also a PHD, have a strong record of line management of scientific staff and have a proven ability to lead research under a quality system.
You will be working closely with the CSO in the prioritisation of projects and development of timelines with specific project managing. Planning and supervision of product development projects to time and budget. You will be expected to understand the requirements of clients in respect of new projects. Liaison with sales and marketing to ensure that proposed solutions meet identified customer needs with regard to supporting data,product configuration. Management, implementation and presentation of results from all Product Development activities, including where appropriate , presentation of data in peer reviewed journals and scientific symposia.
Candidates should have high personal & professional standards and a commitment to scientific excellence. They should be capable of critically appraising problems and identifying potential solutions and be very strategic in their thinking. Have a proven ability to integarate well into small organisations, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Have strong presentation skills with the ability to inspire others to follow. Be able to act with inititiave and priortise appropriately. Able to co-ordinate effectively with other functions within the organization to achieve the group and corporate goals.
