We are fast-growing, award winning and highly ambitious manufacturer and online retailer of sports nutrition products.

We have an immediate vacancy for a talented and highly-skilled Digital Graphic Designer / Content Editor with previous experience working in this capacity for an online (preferably e-Retailer) company.

You must be passionate about digital graphic design and possess a real flair for producing professional, high quality and eye-catching graphics and banners for websites, alongside having solid HTML knowledge.

You should also have extensive experiences with creating regular email campaigns from the ground up, including the design, coding and content.

You will be working alongside the Head of Marketing to also help implement both short term and long term marketing strategies. This will include updating and monitoring of social media accounts, so interest and experience with social media is a must. You will also be responsible for updating multiple e-commerce websites with new products, news items and articles amongst other things, so excellent written English and attention to detail is also vital.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Manager, you roles will include the following:

• Producing banners of various sizes for use across different company brands and on 3rd party websites.

• Creating regular newsletters from the ground up as part of an overall marketing strategy.

• Updating social media accounts with content and graphics and monitoring on an on-going basis to build a loyal following.

• Using internal CMS to manage and update existing online product catalogues, including product information, category listings and images.

• Using internal CMS to add new products to website catalogues.

• Working alongside the marketing team to promote special offers and seasonal products.

• Liaising with suppliers to ensure websites always have the latest product descriptions and images.

• Possible offline graphic design tasks such as producing adverts/flyers for print.

The Digital Graphic Designer / Content Editor should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Highly proficient and extremely creative with relevant web design tools, but Photoshop in particular. Experience with Flash is also a benefit.

• Experience with email campaigns to drive sales and growth.

• Good knowledge of HTML (and CSS, but not essential).

• Excellent knowledge of social media and its benefits.

• Knowledge of the latest web design trends, usability and ergonomics.

• Unrivalled attention to detail.

• Have a passion for all things internet and design, with excellent web savvy.

The job is based at our office in Colchester, Essex. Our working week is 40 hours, Monday-Friday 9am - 6pm.
