We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Development Engineer to join this innovative and dynamic company that deals with all aspects of Engine Research and Development, particularly diesel engines with direct injection and after treatment systems for road vehicles and off road applications.
As the Development Engineer you will be involved in the development of model based control algorithms for diesel engine exhaust after treatment systems (diesel particulate filters and SCR systems) including the modelling itself. You will also help to develop control and monitoring functionalities from concept to the serial production, developing specification, test and applications of new functionalities in the engine control unit. Furthermore you will be involved in the development of model-based application and calibration methods for existing and new functions in the engine control unit.
To succeed as the Development Engineer you will be qualified to a degree level or equivalent, preferably with a PhD in the fields of mechanical or electrical engineering. You will have a profound knowledge in the field of model-based control, modelling and simulation and will have experience with modelling and/or control of after treatment systems. Additionally you will have a good knowledge in programming, particularly Matlab/Simulink.
