COMBUSTION ENGINE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
BASED NORTHERN SWITZERLAND
We are now seeking a Development Engineer (Electronics Control) to join this leading combustion engine R and D facility based on the shores of Lake Constance in Northern Switzerland.
You will undertake the development of model based algorithms including models for diesel engine control as well as specification, evaluation, test and intercompany support of products. You will be responsible for the application of engine management system software and for the development and testing of new software features in the electronic control unit (ECU) on testbeds and vehicles. You will also support an internal rapid control prototyping (RPC) controller as well as develop and implement new features.
The successful applicant will have a degree in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering plus knowledge of software and electronic tools. You should have a good knowledge of combustion engines and of model based control engineering. You should also have experience of Programming including Matlab, Simulink and C.
