My client produces food products for the all the major multiples and food service. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit a development chef
Your role will be to bring new innovation to the team through developing new concepts which will be either brief led or blue sky developments as well as to develop the team by sharing your knowledge and skills of food. On a day to day basis your duties will be:
- To develop new concepts and maintaining core catalogue growth through product maintenance.
- Preparing kitchen samples for internal and external reviews ensuring that these are delivered on time and to the correct specifications and meet any nutritional requirements.
- To communicate with and build relationships with existing and new customers and suppliers.
- To attend development meeting and communicate any relevant information.
Candidates must have experience of chilled of short life product experience within food manufacturing.
Ideal candidate will be a team player, be passionate and knowledgeable about food and have attention to detail..
