As leader of the team you will have full responsibility for leading the Despatch Team within their unit to achieve the performance targets set by the Production Support Manager.
The role will be responsible for ensuring that the Despatch business unit operates as efficiently as possible to achieve the profit and performance targets set by the Factory Manager. You will drive continuous improvement to maximise operational effectiveness and efficiencies through the development of people, process and systems. You will set improvements strategies for your own business unit KPI's Enhancing the group, mission, vision and value as set out in the Premier Provider Plan.
Our client are committed to achieving the highest health and safety standards. You will monitor and maintain best practise, exploring ways to improve despatch processes, procedures and customer service. You will ensure that despatch operations are optimised by ensuring that customer specifications and delivery requirements are met and resources are utilised effectively.

A proven track record of despatch management and leadership experience within a FMCG manufacturing environment+. You will possess strong communication skills and the ability to be a sound decision maker, you will be able to articulate KPIs, motivate the team and manage change. A proven understanding of health & safety, technical/quality and stock issues is important.
