Job Description
Our Client based near Neath is heavily involved in the Steel Industry for 30 years. They have undertaken a wide variety of different work within the steel industry including repair and maintenance, fencing, steel erection and managed maintenance contracts. In addition they have also undertaken numerous machining and pipework contracts within the industry.
Due to their continued success coupled with the ability to branch out into different market places they are now looking to recruit a Design / Estimator.
The role of Design / Estimator consists of progressing sales enquiries and tenders with a percentage of them requiring design input and the production of Auto Cad drawings. The role consists of ensuring the product meets all necessary standards and the project is both technically and financially viable, with ownership of the job through the shop floor to ensuring the customers’ requirements are satisfied. You would ideally live within easy access Neath and have experience of the Steel Industry. It would be beneficial if you posses a professional “can do” attitude as is the ability to work unsupervised as well as to fit into the existing team.
